Cadence-Batched Real-Time Messaging
Real-time messaging application deployed live on Next.js and Vercel that queues outgoing messages until the sender completes their typing sentence, eliminating fragmented chat spam. Entered as the only solo participant at Webmaniac 2026 and won 1st Prize.

OPINIONATED ARCHITECTURAL DECISION
Holding message dispatch client-side until cadence sentence completion, prioritizing conversational readability over immediate raw keypress streaming.
WHAT I GOT WRONG & LESSONS LEARNED
Edge WebSocket reconnection logic initially dropped buffered sentences if network throttled mid-sentence before an exponential backoff queue was added.
How I built this & what it delivers
Built and deployed a cadence messaging app on Next.js/TypeScript (live at the-waited-chat.vercel.app).
Eliminates fragmented 3-word chat spam by queueing outgoing messages until natural sentence completion.
Entered as the only solo participant at Webmaniac 2026 (Academy of Technology) and won 1st Prize.
Production deployment on Vercel with near-zero latency state synchronization.
