Chakravyuh Event Engine
High-Concurrency Event Backend & Anti-Cheat
Backend engine for Chakravyuh held on 18 Apr 2026 with 250+ registrations. Served as Backend Lead for the event, engineering an automated tab/browser-switch ban system, real-time WebSocket leaderboards, and an admin moderation dashboard with composition root dependency injection.

OPINIONATED ARCHITECTURAL DECISION
Used a composition root for centralized dependency injection, keeping business logic clean and independent from Express route handlers.
WHAT I GOT WRONG & LESSONS LEARNED
Early ban heuristics were too aggressive on minor network jitter, so we implemented a 5-chance allowance with 15-second grace periods before issuing bans.
How I built this & what it delivers
Served as Backend Lead for the Chakravyuh event on 18 Apr 2026 with 250+ registrations.
Engineered automated anti-cheat: browser tab-switch detection with 5 chances and a 15-second grace period; ~15 participants were auto-banned and granted second chances, 1 was permanently banned.
Shipped real-time WebSocket leaderboards and an admin panel for live moderation.
Architected with decoupled PostgreSQL/Redis/Drizzle layer with centralized dependency injection [TODO: hey load-test results].
